Privacy Policy

Your family’s data stays with your family.

In short: SNAC has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. Everything your kids do in the app is saved on your own device, and we never see it.

Last updated October 2, 2026. This policy covers the SNAC app for iPhone, iPad and Android, and this website. SNAC is made by R5IOT LLC (“we”).

What we collect

Nothing. SNAC doesn’t ask for a name, email address or any other personal information to use the app, and it doesn’t send anything to us or to anyone else.

What the app saves on your device

To work, the app keeps a few things in your device’s own storage:

  • Kid profiles: the name and avatar you choose, and an age group
  • Learning progress: cards learned, stars, streaks, badges and quiz results
  • Settings, such as dark mode, text size, sound and read-aloud
  • Decks and sets you make yourself

This information never leaves your device. We can’t see it, and it isn’t backed up to our servers because we don’t have any for the app.

Read aloud

When a card is read aloud, SNAC uses the text-to-speech voices built into your device’s operating system. The card’s text goes to your device’s voice feature, not to us.

No ads, analytics or tracking

The app contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking tools, and no third-party code that collects data. It doesn’t need an internet connection to work.

Children’s privacy

SNAC is made for children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). Kid profile names are only stored on your device, and you can use a nickname or an emoji.

Deleting your data

  • Reset one kid’s progress: Settings → Kids → Reset [name]’s progress
  • Delete everything you made: Settings → My decks & sets → Delete all my decks & sets
  • Delete everything: uninstall the app. All of its data is removed from the device.

This website

This website doesn’t use cookies or advertising. To see which pages are visited and how fast they load, it uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. They don’t use cookies or build a profile of you: visits are counted in aggregate (such as the page, the referring site, the country, and the browser and device type), and no personal information is collected. The SNAC app itself has no analytics at all.

Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.

If you email us, for example to hear when SNAC comes to Android, we use your email address only to reply to you and to tell you about SNAC. We don’t sell or share it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Changes

If we change how SNAC handles information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
